Asia Dub Conference is a recurring sound system platform built from India for Asia. The stack is the stage, the look of the room and the place people gather. Audiences recognise the format as it moves between cities.
We are laying foundations for bass, dub and reggae culture that outlast one weekend. Hip hop, grime, jungle and local language MC traditions run through the same physical system. What we want is continuity. The same rooms, the same people, the same routes, still there next year.

Artists are programmed through lineage and conversation, so roots, rap and future bass strengthen one another.

The instrument

Ananda Tandava is built by hand, cabinet by cabinet, and it travels with the programme. Both days run through the same rig, which is why the weekend sounds like one idea instead of two rental invoices.
Scoops and bass bins on the floor, mid horns and tweeter arrays stacked above them. It is a lot of boxes for one room, and that is the point.
